Kids Club Christmas Tree Craft

Backyard Buds: Nature’s Ornaments

Home Depot Do-It-Yourself Holiday Card Display

Make spirits bright in any room with a tree-shaped holiday card display. In this workshop, a spirited Store Associate will demonstrate how to measure, mark, cut and assemble a festive display for your photos with Santa, small trinkets and this year’s holiday card collection. Add string lights for a little sparkle or tinsel for a festive touch, this display will be a holiday favorite year after year! Register here.

Get Crafty This Christmas – Decorate A Wreath

Candle Making Workshop

Saturday, December 15 | 10am – 1pm | Columbia Museum of Art

Make your own holiday-scented candles! Learn candle-making basics and create two eight-ounce soy candles in tins. Taught by local candlemaker and Soak & Soy founder Melissa McGucken. All materials and supplies included. Ages 15 and up. $60 / $48 for members. Register here.

Paper Lantern Workshop

Saturday, Nov. 10 | 6 – 8pm | Columbia Art Center
Join the Columbia Art Center as they prepare for Winter Solstice by making lanterns!
Learn to build your own paper lantern at this fun workshop. The workshop is being offered on three different dates – choose one or all of them! Once completed, march with your lantern in the Winter Solstice Parade on December 21. Using paper, tree limbs, dowels and glue, you will create a magnificent lantern that is only bound by your imagination. Fee of $10 includes instruction, all supplies and materials and operating costs. Class size limited to minimum of 3 and maximum of 15. More here.
