Thirty-three holiday markets are being held in the Midlands this season! That’s a lot of shopping! Here’s our list! Get busy!

Chapin 30th Annual Holiday Open House

Thursday, October 31 – Sunday, November 3
Shop Chapin  this week for incredible specials and one of a kind items just in time for the holidays! On Thursday, to kick off the event, participating businesses will be open until 8pm. More here

Lexington’s Holiday Open House Tour

Thursday, November 7 – Sunday, November 10
Gather your friends & family together to shop locally on this weekend by visiting participating Lexington merchants! Refreshments, door prizes and unique treasures await you for a weekend filled with sales and specials bound to get you into the Holiday spirit. More here. 

 2019 Christmas Craft Show and Holiday Bazaar

Saturday, November 9
At Lexington Middle School, from 9am – 2pm. Featuring over 100 of the best local crafters  as well as small business direct sellers and retail businesses from the Lexington area. More here.

Devine Night Out

Thursday, November 14
Join the businesses on Devine Street for the BEST pre-holiday event in Columbia! Devine Night Out (Thursday, November 14th) features more than 50 businesses on Devine Street who stay open late so that you can shop and socialize!

Craftsmen’s Christmas Classic Art & Craft Fest

Friday, November 15 – Sunday, November 17
This annual event features original designs and work from over one hundred talented artists and craftspeople from across America. Held at State Fairgrounds. More here.

Radius Church Holiday Marketplace

Saturday, November 16  
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Come join us again this year for our 3rd Annual Holiday Market. We are opening up more room and will have more local vendors than ever. Held at Radius Church in Lexington from 10am-2pm. More here.

4th Annual Chapin Band Holiday Market & Silent Auction

Saturday, November 16
We plan to have 100+ local vendors/crafters including: pottery, candles, iron & wood work, homemade crafts & holiday decor, jewelry, clothing, homemade goodies, quilts, healthcare, books and much more. The event is FREE! We will also have several food trucks. This is a 1 stop shop for all your holiday needs and we’re bringing many new food choices to Chapin for the day! More here.

Vista Lights

Thursday, November 21
90 galleries, shops, and restaurants open their doors to showcase their holiday treasures and delicious dishes. Kid’s Zone with visits and photos with Santa, face painting, etc. 5 – 10PM. More here. 

SVAD Annual Holiday Sale

Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22
Students and Faculty of the School of Visual Art and Design at USC will have handmade artworks for sale including ceramics, printmaking, photography and painting. Held in the School of Visual Art and Design from 9am to 6pm. More here. 

Blythewood Artists Guild Holiday Market

Thursday, November 21 – Saturday, November 23
Find hand made, hand crafted artistry of all kinds at this holiday market, hosted by Blythewood Artists Guild. New location at Columbia Country Club. More here

Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show

Friday, November 22 – Sunday, November 24
The 52nd Annual Columbia Gem & Mineral Show will be held at the Jamil Temple (206 Jamil Road). More than 25 dealers will offer an enormous variety of materials from rough and cut gemstones, beads, fossils, finished jewelry, wire wrapping, lapidary supplies, and excellent mineral specimens. Santa & The Grinch Holiday Bazaar

Saturday, November 23
The Cayce-West Columbia Chamber presents the Santa & Grinch Holiday Bazaar at Tri-City Leisure Center from 9am-12pm. Bring the kids to meet Santa and the Grinch and have photos taken with them! We’ll have fun crafts for kids to keep them busy while parents shop for Christmas gifts and goodies. Free breakfast provided by McDonalds while it lasts! More here.


Christmas Craft Show

Aiken, SC Downtown! Are you ready to get into the holiday spirit?! Join #DowntownAiken until 8pm for a chance to finish your holiday shopping lists early or….just get it started! Columbia Art Center Holiday Sale

This will be their first annual Holiday Sale. Available will be variety of hand made arts and crafts from pottery, jewelry, beautiful scarves to paintings and more. Details.


Saluda River Club Holiday Market

Sunday, November 24

Jamil Shriners Craft Show

Saturday, November 30 – Sunday, December 1

Sustainable Holiday Celebration and Market

Monday, December 2
The Sustainable Holiday Celebration and Market highlights the works of local artisans and craftspeople and provides an opportunity to make unique, beautiful, and locally made gifts part of your holiday celebration. Junior League Holiday Market

Thursday Dec 5 – Sunday Dec 8
Approximately 150 merchants from across the country sell merchandise during a themed shopping extravaganza, which includes a preview party, ladies only shopping event, and a children’s event with the season’s biggest celebrity, Santa! More here.

Prosperity Shopper’s Walk

Saturday, December 1
Starts at 5:30PM. Most merchants have “open house” and offer discounts. Local entertainment, visits with Santa, cookies, hot chocolate, and prize drawings. More here. 

37th Annual Santa’s Market Craft Show

Saturday, December 1
Held at Seven Oaks Park (200 Leisure Lane). Enjoy the sights and delights of the holiday season at this annual event featuring unique gifts, charming decorations and one of a kind crafts. Complete your holiday shopping with items including but not limited to, art prints and paintings, hand-made jewelry, ornaments, painted glassware, holiday wreaths, and decor. Winter Native American Art & Craft Festival

Saturday, December 1
This festival, hosted by Native American Studies Center in Lancaster, will be held from 9am – 4pm. Just in time for the holiday season, see and shop for jewelry, Catawba pottery, baskets, quilts, and more one-of-a-kind artwork at the sixth annual festival, held in conjunction with the City of Lancaster’s Christmas in the City. Country Christmas Trunk Show

Sunday, December 2
Visit Old McCaskill’s Farm to share in the holiday cheer and do a little Christmas shopping! They will be featuring items such as wool products, homemade soaps, homemade pies, children’s clothing, essential oils, Christmas decor, etched glass, art, farm foods and more. From 1 – 6pm. More here.

A Starry Night

Friday, December 7
Patrons can stroll through all of their favorite Five Points stores to enjoy sales and specials during a night full of holiday cheer. Complimentary hot chocolate and cider, a DJ spinning holiday tunes, face painting, etc. More here.

Each year, nearly 100 makers from across the Southeast attend Crafty Feast! Columbia’s indie craft fair will be held 12-6pm at Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. More here.
