More than 150 artists and crafters from the Charlotte region will offer unique holiday gifts and decorations at this craft fair that will be held at the Anne Springs Close Greenway (288 Dairy Barn Lane, Charlotte). All items are handmade and include pottery, jewelry, quilts, handbags, children’s clothing, woodwork, soap, candles and gourmet foods such as infused olive oils. Sustainable Midlands Holiday Celebration | Nov 28

The 8th Annual Sustainable Holiday Celebration is bigger and better this year, so make sure you don’t miss it! On November 28th from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the historic 701 Whaley building you can celebrate the holiday season by “buying local” and “eating local”. Guests will have the chance to shop from over 60 of the finest local craftsmen, artisans, and specialty food vendors like Nana by Sally, Sallie’s Greatest, and The Crescent Olive. In addition to fabulous shopping opportunities, free food tastings will be offered by seven amazing local restaurants and catering companies; Arabesque on Devine, Blue Marlin, Kaminsky’s Dessert Cafe, Michael’s on Main, The Spotted Salamander, Whole Foods Catering, and The Wired Goat Café.

Sustainable Midlands is a nonprofit organization and the Sustainable Holiday Celebration gives guests the opportunity to keep thousands of dollars circulating in our local economy while gaining access to amazing deals on their holiday shopping. Guests who buy their tickets by November 6, 2016 will receive special Early Bird pricing of $7 for an individual ticket, or a pair for $10. Tickets can be purchased here. After November 6, regular ticket prices resume: $15 general/ $10 military, seniors, and students.
